In this weeks episode we are joined by our friend Joel. He adds more of the actual comic book nerdery we’ve needed. He can speak on multiple comic arcs and sort of flesh out stuff we discuss in relation to comic movies.
We’ve been trying to get Joel on for awhile but schedules never aligned properly or he bailed.
We decided to do things a little different this week. Instead of just telling you what beer we were drinking, we did a whole segment on Sam Adams Latitude 48 Deconstructed 12 pack. Latitude 48 is an IPA by Sam Adams that includes 5 different types of hops. Sam Adams brewed 5 versions of the Latitude 48 to better show the drinker how each hop brings it’s own characteristics to Latitude 48.
Each beer is brewed with one of the hop styles. Some of the beers are sweeter and mellower than others whereas some give off an extremely juicy hop burst. You are meant to sample each beer then sample the Latitude 48 at the end. It really opens your eyes into brewing and all the time and effort it must take to select the right flavors to brew a properly balanced beer.

As always we still nerd out and discuss the Gotham Pilot, the current state of the Marvel Cinematic Universe and Michael briefly touches on Kevin Smiths new film, Tusk.
