Nerdsense Drinks Reviews – #197 Trillium & Other Half Two Hundred Thousand Trillion

Trillium and Other Half have teamed up once again to brew some beer! Does it taste like Two Hundred Thousand Trillion or does it taste like Two Hundred Thousand Trillion poops were canned?

Style: Double IPA
Container: 16oz Can
Glassware: Snifters
Notes: The palate beckons with flavors of ripe honeydew and apricot, finishing with a slight citrus & tropical fruit. Refreshing, subtle fruit flavors from aging on peaches, apricots & guava are balanced by a drying citrus tang.. (8%)
Rating: 4.5/5

Nerdsense Drinks & No Hype Beer Reviews – #196 Firestone Walker Bravo

It’s Nerdsense and No Hype’s first joint review! (No, not that kind of joint) Think of it like one those TV crossovers! Remember when Urkel crossed over with Full House? I can’t promise it’ll be as awesome as that but it’s close!

Do the guys at Firestone Walker have us saying “Bravo” or “Drainpour”?! Check the review to find out!

Style: Imperial Brown Ale
Container: 12oz Bottle
Glassware: Snifters
Notes: Balancing rich toasty and chocolate malt flavors with a gentle balance of noble hops, Bravo is brewed to showcase barrel flavors with massive bourbon barrel notes that morph as the beer warms in the glass. (13.2%)
Rating: 4.75/5

Nerdsense Drinks Reviews – #193 Alvarado Street & Moonraker Spaced Out

Alvarado Street and Moonraker made some far out beer….man…

This is Spaced Out, courtesy of Chauncey of AllThingsBeer510!

Style: DIPA
Container: 16oz Can
Glassware: Snifter
Notes: Using a blended yeast strain to drive tropical aromatics and flavor compounds, we’ve then used both cryo and traditional pellets in the dry hop for an uber bright, fruity & dank hop character. The addition of Oregon estate heirloom barley from Mecca Grade Malting and a sizable portion of Spelt gives it a pillowy, chewy texture.. (8.1%)
