Weyerbacher Sunday Morning Stout

Style: Barrel Aged Imperial Stout with Coffee

Notes: Aromas of roasted coffee and bourbon awaken your senses while their flavors blend with hints of chocolate, roasted malt, vanilla and caramel. The perfect cap to a Saturday night or start to Sunday morning.(12.7%)

Founders Kentucky Breakfast Stout

Style: Barrel Aged Imperial Stout with Coffee and Chocolate
Container: 12oz Bottle
Glassware: 4oz snifters
Notes: What we’ve got here is an imperial stout brewed with a massive amount of coffee and chocolates, then cave-aged in oak bourbon barrels for an entire year to make sure wonderful bourbon undertones come through in the finish. Makes your taste buds squeal with delight. (11.8%)

This ones a little long so bear with us.

We really didn’t plan on doing a Wicked Weed opinion-piece video but we had a bottle of the 2016 Dark Arts in the fridge for awhile but kept putting it off due to whatever reason. I was grabbing another beer to review and saw it laying there. I mentioned it to Mike and he just said “We’re doing it” or something along those lines. It is brewed with a host of wonderful specialty malts, flaked oats and oat malt to impart a rich, silky mouthfeel and deep, complex malt flavors and aromas reminiscent of dark baker’s chocolate, fresh brewed coffee and caramel candy. Bacon Beer! Ok, it’s not bacon beer but we do love a good Rauchbier!
